Dr Chinyere C. UZODIMMA - Founder/Vice Chairman

Dr Chinyere C. UZODIMMA is a consultant paediatrician and paediatric cardiologist, who qualified from the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. She had her residency training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Cardiology from Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos, Nigeria where she worked from 2005 to 2010. In addition, she did further training with the Paediatric Cardiology unit of Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, India.

After successfully completing residency in 2010, she worked with the Lagoon Hospitals, Lagos as full-time consultant Paediatrician where she also joined to set up the paediatric cardiac services. In 2013, because of her interest in public service, she joined the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State. She has authored several publications in local and international peer reviewed Journals.

Her interest in entrepreneurship led her to obtain a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Leadership from the China European International Business School, CEIBS in 2013

Dr. Charles UZODIMMA - Chairman

Dr. Charles UZODIMMA is a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon who specializes in the evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, research, health promotion and education for diseases/illnesses of the musculoskeletal system, spine and associated structures.

He is a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon at Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta. He is also an executive consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon to Nigeria Army Medical Corp, Military Hospital Lagos; a referral consultant to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, for refugees surgical care, and advisory services.

As a health communication specialist who specializes in effective communication of health and health-related information in creative clear and plain language, he is a health literacy consultant to media firms and other corporate organizations. He is a mediapreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of Mewaga Media, a media organization for audio-visual entertainment-education production with a special interest in health literacy.

He is a co-founder and program director of Nigerian Program on Healthcare Inter-professional Collaborative Practice, an innovative strategy to build multi-sectoral collaboration for healthcare to achieve the advancement of teamwork and industrial harmony in Nigeria’s health sector, towards streghening the health system.

He successfully completed his specialist training residency for, Fellowship of West Africa College of Surgeons, in orthopaedic and trauma surgery at National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi, Lagos. He holds Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos; Certificate in Media Enterprise from School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University Lagos.

He has delivered several lectures and seminars at academic, social and corporate gatherings.
